Standalone Film Festival || World Cinema Partners || Vaw World Animation Studio
Standalone Film Festival & Awards is an international event where 84 Nominated films will be showcased at the TCL Chinese Theatre 6 in Hollywood from August 6 to 11, 2021. Hundreds of filmmakers, actors, technicians from across the world are participating in the festival week. On August 12th the Award Show will be held at the TCL Chinese Theatre 6 main auditorium. A six-member jury committee headed by Pacific-Rim Chamber of Commerce Chairman Holmes Stoner will announce the winners.
Sunday August 8th at 6pm: “GhettoBusters” weaves together the stirring comedy of The 3 Stooges Meets Cheech & Chong. This hilarious comedy series is from the creators & executive producers Danny Sauceda, Freddy Falcon, and Jaime Lyrix Nungarary of Falcon Pictures. Along with Showrunner & Executive producer Deana Molle’ of DeanaLand Productions in bringing to the Latin community the funniest Unconventional Superheroe Series of the century. Follow the GhettoBusters in each episode saving the neighborhoods one household at a time. The Ghettobusters series cast includes Cristian E. Gutierrez, Ricky Montez, Alysia Ingrim, Anthony “Citric” Campos, Ryan Ochoa, and Deana Molle’.
Tuesday August 10th at 6pm: Xentastic, World Premiere & Red Carpet at the World Famous Chinese Theater in Hollywood. An out of this world mind bender film. A 40-minute romantic comedy with a science fiction twist, has been screened to 200 people with rave reviews. We welcome you to celebrate with our cast, crew, producers and fellow tribe members at this black tie event with an upscale red carpet, movie screening and VIP after party and the kick-off of our Film Festival run
Wednesday August 11th at 6pm: A widow lives with the guilt that her husband committed suicide because of her and decides to move into a cabin in the forest to get away from the stress of her guilt but that’s where all her troubles and drama start. “Expiación” by Mexican Producer Vicky Contreras will be closing the SFFA on Wednesday, August 11th. Thursday August 12th at 6pm: The Award Show will be held at the TCL Chinese Theatre 6 main auditorium. A six-member jury committee headed by Pacific-Rim Chamber of Commerce Chairman Holmes Stoner will announce the winners throughout the night.
